Royal Canberra Show

I had a great time at the Royal Canberra Show! There was lots of rides to go on, animals to see and show bags to choose from. The first animals we saw were some big woolly sheep and huge camels. Our first stop was at the Tip Top Stand where are friend Jason was working. He gave us some free bread and gave me a yummy pikelet with hundreds and thousands on top.I had them all over my face.
Then I went on some children rides. The first ride I was in was a pink girl car.The second ride was a on a train. The third ride my friend Lainee joined me in a car. Dad and I then went on a blue dodgem car together.
After that came my favourite part of the show getting a show bag.
I picked the Dora show bag which had lots of cool stuff in it. This included a backpack, shoelaces, ball, pillow, cup and umbrella. The umbrella I really loved and was used heaps. First because it was really hot and just fun to to play with. Later on it had a more practical use as it started to rain on our walk back to the car.
After lunch in the shade then we went to visit the animals. I saw chickens, pigs, dogs, cows, ducks, donkeys and lambs.
We then went to the police area where there was lots of different police vehicles for me to drive.
My favourite was the police car and I even beeped the horn a couple of times.
I was really tired and fell asleep in the car on the way home!

We love going to the shows!!! The rides are amazing and as you get older they get scarier and more fun. Our mum loves the dagwood dogs you get there and we all love the fairy floss! did you get to see some fireworks?, cause they can be excellent too! You are so lucky cause we have to wait until November for our show to come to town, but it sounds like you had a very full and exciting day.
