Kalan's 1st Birthday!

For Kalan's 1st birthday we had a Winnie the Pooh theme for him. This was big sister Chelsea's idea and Mum thought why not. Chelsea pretend to make lists all week with paper and a pen. The list she told Mum was writing what friends were coming and what party food to have. Kalan' s friends that were invited were Lachlan and Paige.

The day before Chelsea and Mum put up huge Winnie the pooh posters up to decorate the dining room.

We used honeypots and Winnie the pooh blocks to make a centerpiece for the table. Had fancy Winnie The Pooh balloons filled up with helium.

On the day of the party some family and friends came to celebrate Kalan turning one years old.

Mum and Dad had cooked lots of yummy party food for the guests to enjoy. We had honey joys, fairy bread, chocolate cupcakes, popcorn and lots more to eat. Mum made Kalan a special chocolate cake for him to eat.

At the start of the party Chelsea gave out bubble wands to some to Ashton, Lainee, Connor and William to play with outside. After playing outside for a while the children then had a go at the Winnie the Pooh pinata Each child grabbed a piece of string and pulled on it until the

goodies/lollies came out. After lunch ended we had a Winnie the Pooh birthday cake for Kalan.

Everyone sang 'Happy Birthday' and he blew out the number one candle.

Before the children went home Chelsea handed out Winnie the pooh goodie bags. When everyone had left Chelsea help Kalan open up his

lovely presents. He got an octopus, clothes, books, money, a push along Tomas, a learning toolbench, a shape sorter, Addias sneakers and ball
