Teddy Bears Picnic

Today I went to a Teddy Bears picnic at Tuggeranong Park. There were lots of different things to do there. I had lots bears to chose from so I picked a small one that wasn't to heavy for Mum if I got tired of carrying it around. I played on the swing, slide and with the diggers in the sand.
Next I was fascinated with what the ducks were up to. Then I watched some Aboriginal children dancing with teddies to indigenous music. After some dancing with my teddy I sat down and was given some tapping sticks so I could join in. Afterwards Mum and I checked out the Animal Farm. There were sheep, bunny, ducks and chickens to look at and pat.

Worlds Biggest Playgroup

Its play group week so the Playgroup Association put on the Worlds Biggest playgroup at the Park on. Lots of fun activities were provided and every playgroup in Canberra was invited. First thing I did was use up some of my energy on an obstacle course that was set up.
It really enjoyed crawling through the tunnels.
Then I made some playdough. I mixed flour, water, salt and oil together in a big bowl. Then a grown up put in some food colouring for me. It was my favourite colour pink. I spent a long time mixing all the ingredients up with a wooden spoon. I make a great chef! Mum thinks I might take after my Dad.
After this I did the MayFlower Dance it was lots of fun. I got to hold a blue ribbon and go around in a circle listening to" Hear We go round the Mulberry Bush".
Before going home I played with some coloured rice. I really liked scooping up the rice and pouing into different containers.

Playschool Concert

Mummy and I went to the Playschool concert with Aunty Lys and Alex on the weekend. There was lots of singing and a story as well. On stage was a big colourful playschool house. The presenters name were George and Angela. George was really funny and kept getting dressed up. First in a yellow plaits as a girl named Sukey and he kept taking the kettle off Miss Polly.
Then as a Fairy and a Prince. The story was about a Princess Ted that needed rescuing from a tall tower. George the Prince got on his horse went through the forest, climbed the tower and rescued Princess Ted. Then gave her a big kiss. Some of my favourite songs were "Rock a bye your Bear', "Wheels on the Bus","Galumph Went the Little Green Frog", If your Happy and you Know It" and Old McDonald. I did the actions and sang along. At the end of the concert Mummy bought some balloons for us to play with. I gave Alex the pink balloon and I had the blue one.
We then went and had some lunch together before going home.
