Our Family Holiday to the Beach!

Mummy and Daddy took me to the beach (Batemans Bay) for a couple of days. We stayed at Bawling Beach resort in a house. It was great fun! It had everything we needed, A bedroom to sleep in, kitchen to eat in and a bathroom which included a big spa bath that we could all fit in. It also was a short walk from the beach. After booking in Mum and Dad went to Bateman's Bay to do some food shopping. Then later that night we had dinner at the Tomakin Club.
The next day Mum and Dad all went to the beach together. I really loved the beach! My favourite things to do were jump in the waves, collect shells and dig in the sand.
After the beach we checked out where we were staying. It had a big children's playground that I really loved. I spent a lot of time climbing on the coloured logs, going over the bridge and going down the slides. I was pretty tired from playing at the beach and playground so in the afternoon I had a long sleep. That night we went out for dinner at the Soldiers Club in Batemans Bay.
The following day I went to Bird land. We walked around and saw lots of different animals. Some of these were wombats, rabbits, alpacas, emus, goats and turtles. Dad and I feed some kangaroos and deers. Then we watched a koala being feed some gum leaves. We also saw lots of different birds. These include parrots, rainbow lorrikets, kookaburras and an eagle.I liked the cockie that had been trained to talk. It said 'Hello, How are you?'. I also enjoyed walking along the little bridge and looking at the waterfall. Then went and had fish and chips for lunch at the Boatshed at Batemans Bay. I then had another afternoon nap. Mum and Dad visited friends at Broulee. After I woke up Mum took me to the beach and I played on the children's playground for a while. We then went out for a yummy dinner at the Starfish Deli. I was kept busy by drawing with some crayons. Then I turned the cup upside and pretended it was a drum. I used the crayons as drum sticks.
On Friday I woke up early and made Mum take me down to the beach to play. I jumped in the waves for a while and then kept hiding a shell in the sand and asking 'Mum where is it?.
Then after booking out of the beach house we caught up with Mums friend and her little girl at Batemans Bay for morning tea. I had a yummy milk shake and chocolate cake! Mum and Dad then had fish and chips for lunch again at the Boatshed before going back to Canberra.

My favourites were the seals, elephants, giraffes, and kangaroos. I also liked the kids area which had play equipment, water wheels and troughs to play in. After a short sleep on the way back then I caught up with Aunty Ida who took us to Bondi Junction for a late lunch and some shopping.

I Love Easter!

I had a very busy Easter. It involved playing with all my cousins and eating lots of chocolate! Chocolate Yummy!
I really loved the bunny ears Grandma gave me and wore them most of the day. After putting the ears on I kept saying 'Bunny rabbit'.
On Easter Sunday most of the Graham side got together for a barbecue at Weston Park.
I really liked playing in the rock pool and getting all wet. I also had a great time playing with Chris and Alex.
I went on an Easter egg hunt with my cousins and looked all around the park for them.I found five different coloured plastic ones. I saw one egg in a tree and told Mum 'I can't reach it'. Mum got it down for me. I then said 'Open egg'. Mum opened the eggs up and guess what more chocolate. Yeah!

We had delicious cake for Chris birthday. After singing 'Happy Birthday' we then got to eat some. Mummy blew some bubbles for Alex and I to catch.
Then we caught up with the To family for dinner at Dumpling Inn. I used my Easter basket with a bunny on it to give out chocolate eggs to everyone.

Easter Time

During the lead up to Easter was very busy.
Mum took me swimming where we sang lots of Easter songs. My swimming teacher Janette dressed up in bunny ears for the whole lesson. She threw plastic coloured eggs in the pool and we had to find them and put the eggs back in the basket. At the end of the lesson she gave all the children a little chocolate Easter egg to eat.
At playgroup we went to Fadden Pines for an Easter egg hunt. I invited my cousin Alex along to join in the fun. First we were given a bag to put the eggs in and then all the children searched around for chocolate eggs. Then after eating a few Easter eggs Alex and I burnt off our energy on the play equipment. Alex really liked the swing and I enjoyed going down the slide. Mum had a great time too! She was really happy that she won first prize in the Easter egg raffle as she a big family to feed.
